Is there a way i can force the connection to use type 10 when using my username? When using the other admin's account the type is 10. Seems to be type 10, when using version 10 the type changes to version 3 for me. What I have found in the server logs are that when using version 8, the logon type Server to make sure it's not a session that causes the problem. I have tested with another admin's details and it works for them, this is on the same machine, using the same connection, just changing the username and password, both users are in the same groups and have the same permissions. To counter that, Apple added Desktop Stacks to make your desktop organized according to the criteria you desire. However, in the older versions, the sync between Mac and iPhone led to a lot of clutter.

I do however have a problem, I can connect to me 2012 R2 box with version 8, without any issues, when using version 10 I get the following error " Microsoft Remote Desktop for MacOS Version 8 is being discontinued, hence I need to start using version 10.
